Oaty Pancakes

Oaty Pancakes

Utensils you will need:
Bowl, measuring spoons, measuring cups, fry pan, spoon to stir,  flipper/spatula

Ingredients:
1 Ripe Banana
1/2 Cup Oats
1/2 Cup Flour
1 Teaspoon of Baking Powder
3/4 Cup of Milk
1 Teaspoon Vanilla

Let's Cook

  1. Mash your banana in a bowl. Add in your milk and vanilla. Stir to mix together.

  2. Add in your oats, flour and baking powder.

  3. Heat your frypan over a medium heat.

  4. Add a little bit of oil to your pan. Add spoonfuls of your pancake mix.

  5. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until you see little bubbles on top of your pancake.

  6. Carefully turn them over and cook the other side for 2 mins or until they are golden brown.

Do not walk away while you are cooking your pancakes.
Make sure you turn your oven off once you finish cooking.

Chocolate Overnight Oats

Chocolate Overnight Oats 
So easy to make and enjoy the next morning 

Utensils you will need:
A bowl, a fork, a spoon, measuring cup, measuring spoons.

Ingredients :
1 ripe banana 
1/2 cup of oats 
1 teaspoon of pumpkin seeds
1 teaspoon of sunflower seeds
1 tablespoon of cocoa powder 
1 cup of milk

Let's Cook

1.   Mash a banana in a bowl. 

2.   Add the oats, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, cocoa powder and milk and stir together.

3.   Leave for at least 15 minutes before eating, but overnight is better, put in the fridge until morning.

Brain Smoothie

"Good Brain" Smoothie

Utensils you will need:
A blender, measuring cup, measuring spoons.

Let's Cook

Ingredients:
1 glass of apple juice

1 tablespoon of ground flaxseed (sometimes it’s called Linseed)

2 blocks of frozen spinach or a handful of fresh spinach

1 ripe banana

1.Put it all into your blender and blend until smooth

Peach Chia Seed Pudding

Peach Chia Seed Pudding

Utensils you will need:
A container with a lid,  measuring cup, measuring spoons, fork

Ingredients:

1/4 cup of chia seeds

1 cup milk

1 tablespoon of maple syrup

1/2 tin of peaches

Let's Cook

  1. In your bowl add milk

  2. Add the maple syrup

  3. Sprinkle over the chia seeds.

  4. Stir very well so all of the chia seed are wet from the milk.

  5. Chop the peaches.

  6. Add them into a bowl.

  7. Cover the chia seed pudding with a lid.

  8. Put into the fridge.


Leave for at least 15 minutes before eating, but overnight is better, put in the fridge until morning. Add some of your favourite yoghurt.

Cath's Baked Beans

Utensils you will need:
A Sieve or colander, measuring spoons, wooden spoon, fry pan.

Ingredients:

1 Can of Canellini Beans

1 Can of Tomato’s

1/2 Teaspoon of Salt

1 Tablespoon of Maple Syrup

1 Teaspoon of Olive Oil

Let's Cook

  1. Drain your can of Canellini Beans in a sieve or colander.

  2. In a frypan add all of your ingredients and cook for 10 - 15 minutes while stirring. Do not walk away.

  3. When the baked beans are nice and thick and hot they are ready to eat.
